The multiplier event of empowerWOMENt project organized by de Asociaţia pentru Participare Cetățenească was held in Făgăraș, Romania on August 10th, 2018 and it was a key dissemination activity to promote the project financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.
The event took place in the “La’ Cort” location and the empowerWOMENt project, its objectives and background were introduced to the participants.
The number of guests was 50 representing 14 private companies, most of them run by women, one municipality, one foundation supporting entrepreneurship, one research institute, five associations, one local radio station, one law studio, one project development company, one school and one parish church.
The outputs introduced during the event were highly appreciated by attendees belonging to the following professional categories: entrepreneurs, public clerk, project coordinators, staff developing projects, managers of NGOs, researchers, engineers, teachers, priests, university and highschool students.
A standard project presentation containing information on key figures, objectives, partners, structure of work and technical workflow inside the transnational partnership has been presented to the participants.
After the official presentation, six female entrepreneurs participating in the activities of the project had the opportunity to establish connections with the other participants from the economic and social entrepreneuring sector and share the experience and knowledge they had gained for the project.
Catering services were provided to the participants in a pleasant environment that encouraged interaction and was, simultaneously, favourable to strengthening ties in the context empowerWOMENt project.
